We are pleased to be returning to Wantagh Elementary School for Summer Rec. 2026. Camp will run from June 29th 2026 until July 30th 2026 from 9;30AM to 12:30PM, Mondays through Thursdays. The cost for camp is $450 per child.
At Rec., your child can expect to be grouped with children from their grade, gender, and elementary school. Children must be enrolled in the Wantagh School District for September of 2026 in order to be enrolled in camp. Wantagh Summer Rec. serves children entering kindergarten through children entering the sixth grade. Campers will be offered activities such as arts & crafts, playing on the fields at Wantagh Elementary, and games on two playgrounds. Additionally, we have been able to offer water slides from Jump & Jam LI, visits from Kona Ice, and interactive demonstrations from local law enforcement.

SUMMER REC REGISTRATION POSTPONED
We have just been advised by the company that processes payments for the Summer Rec program that they are having technical difficulties and are not able to process any payments. They are hoping to clear this problem up ASAP, however at this time no payments can be accepted. As soon as their issue is resolved we will open up registration. We hope to be able to do so on March 21 and will send out an email as soon as they inform us that the issue has been resolved.

Include your name, cell phone number, email address, and grade in the Fall of 2026. Parents, please have your children contact us from their email in order to have the most clear communication. In order to be considered, potential counselors must be a student of the Wantagh School District and have finished 9th grade by June of 2026.
